We will be organizing the last New Year’s Event for this year. The New Year Old Lady will be trading capsules/life core for the beads that you collected. If you are ingame during the time of the New Year’s event, you have a chance of obtaining New Year’s Cake. Once you receive this cake, you can right click on it to get different colored beads. When you collect a number of them, you may go to the New Year Old Lady to trade them in for a Capsule 2, Capsule 3, Capsule 4, Capsule 5 or Life Core.

Event starts on 15th February 2007 at 8PM PST and will end on 22nd February 2007 at 4PM PST.

There are character restrictions to this event. Any characters created 6th February 2007 may not participate. Also, characters must be level 20 in order to get the breads.

Happy Halloween!

As most of you on Fairyland are aware, Halloween is almost here! Less than one week until Halloween and Fairyland US will hold an event to celebrate this joyous occasion! But there’s one problem… Nights have been stolen from Fairyland! Everyone must help try to get our nights back by helping the Activity Organizer and Queen of Night collect the “Jelly of Night Essence”. Your first mission is to speak to the Activity Organizer in Rainbow City. He will let you know all the information you need to get our nights back! There are special NPCs placed in the game for this event period. You will need to speak to them in the order told by the NPCs in order to get your “Jelly of Night Essence” for the Queen of Night. There are a total of 10 special NPCs so find them and note them down for the ease of your journey.

Although there are no special prizes/items for this event, there are two titles that you may be able to achieve depending on how many runs you complete. One run is equal to talking to 5 NPCs. The last NPC you speak to in each run will direct you to speak to the activity organizer to hand the “Jelly of Night Essence” to him. An important note is that the Jelly is not visible in your inventory and this is not a glitch or a bug. The server keeps track of how many jellies you have accumulated as well as how many runs you have done.

There may be an extra bonus if the total turn in amount reaches a certain amount on one server before a certain time. In addition, on the last day of the event there will be a party for all players to join in on. For those players who have obtained a title will get a free transformation by talking to the Activity Organizer at this time.

Moon Festival 2006 Event

It is that time of year again. Moon Festival is the time for mooncakes and bunnies! This year however the event is quite interesting yet again! For those that appreciate a more interactive event will love this one. The event will start on October 5th, 2006 at 8:00pm PST (GMT -8) and will end on October 12th, 2006 at 4:00PM PST. You may then go to the Activity Organizer located in Rainbow City and speak to him to get more information about the event and how you can participate in this event and what kinds of rewards are given this year. Get ready and prepare your clanmates and friends to go on a hunt!

One change in this event that we feel our players will appreciate; you can hunt the Bunnie Thieves 24/7! We know that we have players from all around the globe on our servers and this will help to make the event possible for anyone at any time regardless your schedule. Bunnnie Thieves will appear in: Frog Swamp, Secret Plains, Smiling Forest, Pea Lake, Snow White Forest, Valley of Fear, Puppet Hill, Genie Desert, Crystal Mountain and Dwarf Hill. When in battle, the Bunnie Thieves will be 2 levels higher than the highest player in your party.

Another feature with this event is the mooncakes you receive from the Bunnie Thieves can not be traded/dropped. The mooncakes can only be consumed by the character that receive them from the Bunnie Thieves. However, after you consume the mooncake (eating a mooncake will raise your satiate by 5) the letters are then tradeable and may be dropped as well. Also keep in mind that the lower your level, greater the chances of you receiving a "blank" note. The higher your level, greater the chance of receiving more rare notes.

Goal of this event is to collect the papers that you receive from the mooncakes. The Activity Organizer will be looking for different assortments of note/letter combinations. He could simply be asking for a collection of blank notes or for different combinations of notes to form a phrase. Different rewards are available for each combination. As the notes needed contain chinese characters, we are including the combinations you need below. One thing to keep in mind; 'Jie' has a quantity limit for each character to receive. After you have reached a certain quote (recorded by the server) you will only receive blank notes. So, if you start to not receive "Jie" from your mooncakes, this is not a bug, but a feature. Don't worry, the quantity limit is not too low!

Dragon Boat Festival [Reholding]

This is the reholding of the Dragon Boat Festival event. As this is a repeat event due to some errors before there are some restrictions. Only characters made before May 23,2006 may enter this event. As this is a ‘rehold’ of an event, this event is only available to characters that were born on or before the original event date restriction to participate. We hope you understand why this had to be done.

Process of the event:

Players should see the Activity Adjudicator to receive their model. Players are encouraged to form a party to fight the greedy serpents. The more players you have in your party the higher the probability of encountering a Serpent King. Serpent Kings have a higher probability of dropping items necessary for your model.

Players are to see the Activity Adjudicator from time to time to see how their models are turning out. The NPC may also reward your work with a title or some special gifts after some work is done.

Players are to collect items and construct their models before event Period One end date. Greedy Serpents will stop appearing and judges will stop taking boats on this date. Players have one week thereafter to claim their prizes after the winner list has been released after the end date of period one.

Ranking Information

You will be judged in the following categories: Originality, Modeling, Fabrication, Heaviest and Overall.
There will be 5 winners that will receive prizes for all categories except “Overall”. Top 30 Overall prizes will be given.

Prizes include: Life Core, Pet nutrient, Capsule 5, Glass Seeds, Tuners, Enamels, ETC.

We hope that everyone has a fun time doing this event this time around. There should be no confusion and all players are to turn in their boats by the end of first week of the event. Celebrate Chinese Valentines Day with us!
Staring July 27, 2006 at 8:00PM PDT, you will be able to battle dummy cattles around FL. The cattle will be 3 levels higher than the highest leveled player in your party. They are available 24 hours a day during the event period. You will randomly receive a bell from the cattle. There are 4 different kinds of bells you may collect and turn them into the Activity Organizer during the event to receive different prizes including an event title.

Hello Dear Fairylanders! We have finally negotiated a fix for the dragon boat event that had ended early due to a programming error. The event will be reheld again in August after a reprogramming is done. We cannot hold this event any sooner as there is an event coming up at the end of July (more to be announced at a later date) and the engineers will have to start their reprogramming on the Dragon Boat Event after this. We will announce as to what date this will happen at a date closer to the event. We apologize for the confusion this caused alot of players with the event being shortened to one-week.

But in Fairyland you don’t have to be a mother to celebrate this joyous occasion. All players can participate if their account meets all conditions. Event #1:
If your character was created before May 5, 2006 you will receive a “Secret Package” (one time only) on your character that you can turn into the Activity Organizer for a Prize.

Prizes for this event vary from Pet Card, Fighting to Capsules.

Event #2:

Speak to the Activity Organizer for details on the Carnation Collecting event. When you obtain a certain amount of a certain color of carnations you get a prize. Carnations are dropped into your inventory randomly when you are logged into the game server. The probability for your character to get the more rare carnations is based upon your character level. You may turn in as many carnations as you want before the end date.

Prizes for this event vary from Pet Card, Pet Dolls and Capsules.

Wow! It’s already nearing 2006. Can you believe that it is almost time for the new years again!? In celebration, we have put together another event that we hope all Fairyland players enjoy. This year New Year Old Lady will be trading capsules for the beads that you collect. If you are ingame during the time of the new years event, you have a chance of obtaining Multi-Layer Steamed Bread. Once you receive this bread, you can right click on it to get different colored beads. When you collect a number of them, you may go to the New Year Old Lady to trade them in for either a Capsule 2, Capsule 3 or Capsule 4.

Event starts on December 29, 2005 at 6PM PST and will end on January 5, 2006 at 5PM PST.

There are character restrictions to this event. Any characters created after December 20, 2005 may not participate. Also, characters must be level 10 in order to get the breads. If you do not meet these requirements, you cannot participate in this years event.

To celebrate Christmas 2005 and welcome Santa Claus to stay with us during this special holiday, we need to decorate the X'mas Tree as a tradition. As we always enjoy working with our players, players' assistance is necessary for this event. Participants may have chance to get not only this years X'mas title but also some surprising gifts. Surely, Santa Claus will also join us during this special holiday.

For the Christmas event there are two parts. The first part of the event will be getting the main Christmas Title for 2005. After a few days the second part of the event will start. This second part of the event will allow you to get an additional Title (You can choose out of 3!). However, for those that have participated in last years event beware: The “Merry Xmas” Title is last year’s title (Shining Christmas Tree). If you were unable to get the title from last year, this is your chance to get it as well as this years. There are two more additional new titles named “Happy Xmas” and “Snowman Title”. If you choose the Merry Xmas title and already have it from last year, this is no way for us to swap this for a different one, so be very careful on what you choose if you have done last years event.

Christmas trees will be set up in all 3 capitals. Event will start on December 22, 2005 at 7:00PM PST and will end on January 5, 2006 at 5PM PST. We hope that all Fairylanders have a very Merry Christmas! We hope to see you taking part in the event.

King of Turkey only appears once a year for Thanksgiving. His appearance will bring lots of gifts, including coins, experience, fame and a rare title, to lucky Fairylanders from 11/24/05 to 12/01/05.

1) King of Turkey shall wander around during the Thanksgiving season. Players may meet the King of Turkey in cities, villages or grassland. It will be difficult to meet the King of Turkey and you can only talk to him once. So if you see a turkey, grab at this opportunity!

2) After the King of Turkey has rewarded the player with a gift, it will disappear to another location. If more than one player encounters the King of Turkey, whoever clicks first on the King of Turkey will have the chance to get the rewards. And the King of Turkey will vanish before other players have a chance to click.

3) All players will be given only one chance to get gifts from the King of Turkey. If you have met the King of Turkey before and made the selection of your wish, King of Turkey will ignore you the next time you meet him.

2005 Halloween Event

It�s that time of the year again... When the streets are flooded with loud laughter and everyone dressed up as ghosts, skeletons, devils and various other masked monsters! Every few seconds you hear kids yelling �Trick or Treat!�� Yes, you�ve guessed it� It�s Halloween! Here at Fairyland USA, we have a Halloween event scheduled for you all to take part in.

Event 1: Treat or Trick

During the Halloween event period, you can try your luck in each village, city and rural residences. You will have a chance to meet some kind NPCs who will give you Halloween candies. After gathering 25 candies, you can receive your 2005 Halloween Title!

Please note the following for the event:

1. During the time of the event, you can visit the Rainbow City Event Host and for a small fee be transformed into a ghost, wolf or a skeleton. After you have done this, you can now go trick or treating at the residents houses to receive some candy!

2. There are NPCs distributing Halloween candies in cities, villages and resident houses. When you talk to an NPC that is distributing candy, you will then receive one piece of candy from that NPC.

3. Once you have collected 25 halloween candies, you can go talk to the Rainbow City Event Host and you can trade in the candies for your 2005 Halloween Title.

4. If you eat a piece of candy, you will get a slight increase in your HP and MP. However, when you eat a candy, it will disappear and cannot be counted towards your 25 candies any longer.

Event 2: Collect Ribbons and win Big Prizes!

Who said that the festival event must be packed with people? In order to show our appreciation to the loyal Fairyland players, during the Halloween event period, no matter whether the players are trying to level up, fighting against monsters, working on skills, or just chatting with friends, they will receive the pumpkin pies randomly given out by the system as long as they are online. The players can receive Halloween ribbons by opening pumpkin pies, and players can exchange the prizes from the Halloween Ambassador when you have five ribbons of the same color!

The annual chance of getting body-transforming medicine is coming again! In order to adapt to the Halloween atmosphere, the event host in Goldburg will also provide �Couples trasnformation Medicine Package� besides the traditional single bottle transformation medicine. This will allow the couples, brothers/sisters, or good friends to transform to the same pet so that they can walk around and show off to others together. Of course, the Couples transformation Medicine Package can only be won by participating the draw. What kind of pet the players are transformed to is decided randomly. Isn�t that exciting? To all Fairyland players: Have your coins on hand and come join the transformation party!

The festival on Fairyland USA will start on September 15th! Each day, there will be a 4 hour time slot where Lunar Bunnies will appear and you can take part in this festival. To get started, you will find the Activity Organizer in Rainbow City along with the “Moon Expert” standing beside him. This will tell you more about the event and where you can meet Lunar Bunnies!

There are 10 total Lunar bunnies in the game during the 4 hrs and there are 20 different maps that they will spawn on. When you find the Bunny, it will respawn in a different location in 1 minute time.

Yes, of course there is the Moon Festival Title that you can obtain by getting the correct ingredients and collecting moon cakes to turn into the moon expert to trade in for the title.

Attention Fairylanders! Pet Card Collection event is here!

A new exciting event is about to take place. We are going to start the pet card collecting event where you can obtain painted pets! This event will start on August 18th and will run until September 15, 2005. You can meet the Pet Painting NPC in the village to start the event. You will need to obtain a card book from the NPC and completely fill the book with required pet cards in order to obtain your pet! We hope that you will enjoy this event and we look forward to seeing more new pets around.

April 2nd of Year 2005 is the bicentenary of the birth of Hans Christian Andersen. He is one of the world’s most-read author. Combined with many HC Andersen’s tales as its background, Fairyland has won the hearts of kids and grown-ups alike from all over the world. To celebrate this special day, a Storyteller from Denmark, the hometown of HC Andersen, will introduce the HC Andersen’s tales in Gion. He will let players be more familiar with HC Andersen.

Female players can buy chocolates from the Snowman Entrepreneur (Gion 34,193) and Lover's Doll from the Doll Entrepreneur (Gion 55,193). Whoever gets the passion chocolate can exchange it for a title with St. Valentine (Gion 50,208), then go to Bluebird City to get title from the title manager.

Celebrate the meaning of friendship! A friend who puts your name on their list gives you a friend-point. The player with the most friend-points stands to win some cool prizes! This event begins on 1/26/05 3:00 am and ends on 2/23/05 0:00 PST.

· Only players above level 10 will be counted as friends of players for this event. Each new friend the player makes will give the player one point, whereas a deleted friend will deduct one point from the player’s friend-points total.
· Friends below level 10 added will not be counted for this contest.
· The player with the most friend-points at the end of the event will win the Title “Fairyland Best Friend”.

Conditions for winning the event:.
1. Be among the top ten players with the most friend-points.
2. The event/points information will be updated weekly on the website news section.
3. If friends in a player's friend list are not online for more than seven days, their points will not be counted.

We want to see your creativity! Design a banner or forum signature for the online advertising team to use. The winning design may just end up on a T-shirt used for promotional advertising. It must fit within the following specifications:

1. Same size restrictions as the forum signatures, which is 100 pixels high and 500 pixels wide.
2. Non-animated, just a single frame (since animation cannot be printed on a t-shirt).
3. No personal or character names or info should be added in the case of signatures.
4. No rude, vulgar or mature content.

All entries must be posted in the " Art Village of FL USA" forum before midnight on Sunday, February 6th in the official entry thread. You may enter a total of three pieces. Any more will not be counted or added to the voting. At Feb 6th, the entry thread will be locked and another thread will be created for the players to vote on their favorite. Every year around New Year's time, the Year Beast will emerge in different areas in our continent. The Year Beast comes out to scare everyone in the new year, but players can defeat them with firecrackers. Players can either buy firecrackers or fight beast for lucky drop.

In addition, when players fight the beast, there is a chance that it will drop a fortune cookie. You can take the fortune cookie to any village head and greet him. The village head will in turn give you a red envelope in return for your greetings. You will also have the chance to win the 'Year of the Rooster' title in this event!

Clan Leaders can go to the Clan Manager to purchase different envelopes for their clan members. Each envelope contains money that Clan Leaders may use to give to their members in appreciation of the member's loyalty and hard work.

Players can also get their fortune reading for the year 2005. This is solely for entertainment purpose only. You can meet the fortune teller ingame and have them read your fortune.

When hearing christmas carols around the streets, we know the year 2004 is almost coming to an end. Everyone's favorite holiday, Christmas, is coming!

In Fairyland world, christmas trees are set in three main cities: Rainbow City, Bluebird and Goldburg. Christmas Ambassadors will ask all players to help decorate the Christmas trees together. You will need to fetch the required items to the Ambassadors. Required items can be obtained from quests or fighting the beast. In addition, Santa Claus will visit the three cities and he will bring gifts and celebrate Christmas holiday with players.

King of Turkey only appears once a year on Thanksgiving Day. His appearance will bring lots of gifts, including coins and a rare title (just for this event)…, to lucky Fairylanders from 11/24/04 to 12/01/04 from 7:00-10:00am, 19:00-22:00pm PST.

1) King of Turkey shall wander around during the Thanksgiving season. Players may meet the King of Turkey in cities, villages or grassland. It will be difficult to meet the King of turkey. Therefore, when you encounter the King of Turkey, you must grab the opportunity to ask the King of Turkey for gifts.
2) After the King of Turkey has rewarded the player with a gift, it will disappear to another location. If more than one player encounters the King of Turkey, whoever clicks first on the King of Turkey will have the chance to get the rewards. And the King of Turkey will vanish before other players have a chance to click.
3) All players will be given only one chance to get gifts from the King of Turkey. If you have met the King of Turkey before and made the selection of your wish, King of Turkey will ignore you the next time you meet him.
4) For those who choose to get the “Thanksgiving Turkey” title, you need to go to Bluebird City, Title Owner (103,552) to get your title.

You may submit a maximum of 3 screenshots per person. No picture modifications and animating are allowed. Last day to post on 11/21/04 4 pm PST. Viewers can vote the best 3 prizes after we have selected 10 of the best out of all the submissions. All votes will be counted and finalist will be informed via email and forum.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with turkeys. Fairyland USA will be throwing away turkeys and in-game cash on 11/25/04. Time to be announced on actual day.

Some minor ingame interface changes have taken place a few days ago. If you are ingame and have your MiniMap (Ctrl+N) open, you will notice that only the coordinates show under the map. The location will be shown if you mouse over the map. This change cleaned up the map as you could not see coordinates prior to this fix in some locations with long names. Another change that has taken place in Character Status (Ctrl+Z): when you go to your "Normal Skills" and "Magical Skills" pages, you will notice that there are no longer any texts above the skills. This is not a bug, but a fix. If you mouse over the meter under "Normal Skills" you will see the skill name as well as the level. For "Magical Skills" you will see icon(s) and if you mouse over this button you will see the information needed. These adjustments we have made will make it easier for you to view without any clutter. We hope everyone will enjoy these changes.
